A robot moved more than 90,000 accounting entries into the new ERP
When the accounting system changed, a robot migrated three companies' data into Merit ERP in about two and a half months.

The starting point
Trans.eu was changing its accounting system and needed to transfer the accounting data of three companies. Each used different document types and different extraction logic.
Transferring the data by hand would have been slow and error-prone.
The solution
- The project began with preparation. JPK files were generated from the client's systems and mapped using glossaries. Development, testing in a test environment and go-live followed.
- The robot logged in to Merit ERP, selected the accounting period and ledger, and entered document headers and lines and, where needed, VAT entries.
- It wrote error messages to a final report, so it was clear which documents needed a manual check.
The result
- The data of all three companies was transferred correctly.
- The live migration took about two and a half calendar months and wrote more than 90,000 accounting entries.
- The robot ran reliably, and only a few exceptions had to be handled by hand. Data for 2020 and the first half of 2021 was transferred before the end of the financial year.
Documents from email to ERP with no human input
A robot reads documents from email and enters them in the ERP. Rekeying errors are gone and documents move through the company faster.
Supplier invoices go from email into the accounts on their own, twice a day
Twice a day, a robot goes through the invoice mailbox and creates each invoice in the accounting software as a provisionally entered document.
A robot checks delivery schedules from email, giving the planner a third of his capacity back
Twice a day, a robot extracts delivery schedules from PDFs, checks the orders in the ERP and sends a report to planning.
